Hello All, Regarding Ancestral Files from the LDS, I have found some HUGE mistakes. These records were given to the LDS by church members, as well as researchers not members of the LDS. One MUST find out who submitted the information, (usually given at the end of the reports), contact them and find out their source. When I called the people who submitted the wrong information on my Andrews line and questioned some entries, we did set some things straight. I knew some of the info was wrong, because it dealt with g/aunts and uncles for which we had proof. These records can be corrected if you find a mistake, by the way. I'd say go with caution and have backup proof.
