I have no information on his parents. I found an Alfred ANDREWS in the 1880 census age 8 in Waterford, Camden, NJ. I don't know if this is my Alfred. He is listed under Annah ANDREWS age 50 born in VA as her son. Also listed are Caroline ANDREWS age 12 daughter born in NJ, Jenny SIMMERMAN age 18 other born in NJ, and Carry STOKLEY age 18 other born in NJ. I am waiting for a marriage record for Alfred and Lydia if it even exists and even if it does who knows what other info it will have. I would love any guidance on how to search for people with such a common last name!
