    1. You must be talking about my great uncle Alfred.
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Wm.2ADEB/1708.1 Message Board Post: I've been on JHAndrews trail for some time. Here is what I can offer. I checked with libraries in Berwick Maine and they have no record of James Hamilton Andrews. I found some reference to a James H. Andrews, father J. Andrews in the 1870 census. carlotta was married twice. Once to a Mr. George and last to a Mr. Alejandro. She was my grandmother. Chase Andrews lived in Ohio in 1892. There was also a Fanny Andrews whose photos I have. One was taken in St. Louis MO. Another has her dressed in Civil War era clothing. I don't know how she ties in to the family. There is also a Fanny mentioned in an 1892 letter from J. Andrews (JH's dad?) to Chase. Only this Fanny sounds like a child staying with JAndrews. James H Andrews located his family in Corpus Christi, TX after immigrating through Laredo during the Mexican Revolution. he returned to Mexico to work. His family had to relocate to San Antonio after the hurricane of 1919 wiped out their home and belongings. Have you heard anything from this board?
