I have several ANDREWS relatives from both Stillwater New York and Orleans county New York. The two from Stillwater are: 1. Rebecca ANDREWS who md. Gilbert HOOKER in abt 1791 in Stillwater and raised her family there. It is presumed that she died there also, even though I have no official information to that fact. Her family was a member of the Congregational Church that moved from Canaan, Litchfield, CT. 2. Lydia ANDREWS who md. Stephen WHITEHEAD inStillwater in abt. 1789. The Whiteheads later moved to Junius, Senecca Their brother Joel ANDREWS lived with his family in Orleans County around 1825 . His sons George and William Penn ANDREWS were born in Orleans County-- one in Medina the other in Gaines. If you have any information on these ANDREWS names I would love the help. We are stuck at this point because we know nothing about their parents. I was told at one time their father's name was Joel and their mother's maiden name may be Arnold. I wait eagerly to hear from you, hopefully with some clues to this family. Thank you, Cindy Harrell

Hello Listers, I have browsed the list for a while now and have decided to post hoping that SKS can help. While researching a will for Robert Emsley Skirrow (1882-1956), it was found that he had left a small inheritance to his niece, LAURA INGLESON SKIRROW ANDREWS (b 1908 YKS). We have no record of a marriage to ?? ANDREWS. We don't know if she was married in Yorkshire or Australia. She was the daughter of Arthur Frank Skirrow and Jane Eleanor BELL. Granddaughter of Wilfred Skirrow and Sarah Ingleson, Maple Farm, Otley,YKS In the will she was refered to as living at 303 High Street Northcote, Victoria, Australia Are there any Australian Andrews that can help figure out if there might be family left?
