My family names are Andrews, Atkinson, Shaw, Johns, Humphreys, and others. I didn't know that I had a Huffman connection until you mentioned that it was Henry Huffman who ran away to Louisiana with Martha Ann Purvis Andrews! She was my gg grandmother. Do you have more information on that?. I just know what happened on the Andrews side. Also, you mentioned that buried in the Ellis Springs Cemetery that there was a Luther Shaw. I believe that indeed, he was Annie's brother. He was also married to Lillie. John Randall Shaw was the son of James T. Shaw and Rebecca Ann Watson. He married Ella Lavinia Williams.

Does anyone know anything about John S (?) Andrews b. in NY abt 1799. He married Betsy P, children Sarah J., Mary, Martha. They m. in NY and Sarah was b. in NY. The other two children b. OH. In 1850 they were living in Genoa Township. In the 1860 census there is a Geneva Township but I could not find Genoa. Was the name changed and if it was, was it changed to Geneva? It appears that they came to Ashtabula Co. before 1836. Does anyone know where they came from in NY or the parents or siblings? Thanks, Sharie Oceanside, CA

Ar. the father of Thomas, Anna and Mary E is listed as born in GA. The mother of Thomas is listed as born in Ga but that of Mary E is listed as born in Arkansas. Mary E and William E "may" be the relations we have been searching for. With a big stress on the "maybe" part. It is looking promising but if anyone else has any information on this line, we would sure like to talk to you. Thanks!

Rosetta is daughter of Samuel and Anna HOYT (HOIT) from Vermont. Jehiel and Rosetta had 3 children: Samuel, Mary Edna, and Steven. Mary Edna married Charles Wesley STARR on December 26, 1883, in Andrew, Iowa. Am trying to find parents of Jehiel. Have not found him on the 1856 Iowa Census.
