Surnames: Andrews Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Wm.2ADEB/2754 Message Board Post: I'm looking for information about my great-grandfather (particularly regarding his parents), Arthur Brenton Andrews (b. 13 May 1882 in Osgood, IN; d. Dec 1918 in IN or SD). He was married to Inez Freed (b. 22 Jul 1881 in OH; d. 1973), and I believe he had at least two sisters, Blanche and Bertha (married to Henry Davis?), and at least one brother. If anyone has information, I'd love to hear from you. :-)

Where he dedicated the book is really fading-that is where he signed it. Ann

Apparentley this family was a very important family back ages ago. I read the preface of the book and I was surprised and still wonder why I have this book. I do see a Bailey mentioned in it but not sure it is one of mine. It is a very small book and according to a few pages at the end the family exist now in BOSWORTH, LOWMAN, MCDOWELLS, CLARK. Ann

Surnames: Andrews, Clark, tennant, davison, Caswell Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Wm.2ADEB/46.1247 Message Board Post: I have been going thru my old books and found one that might be with your family. It is a very small book autographed inside by Charles T. Andrews. The date says 1917 and is dedicated to his children and grandchildren. I am trying to decide why I have this book as yet it doesn't fit in my family. Charles Thomas Andrews was born near logan, in Hector, Tompkins-now Schuyler-county NY., July 15 1842. This is taken from p 17 of the book. I assume this is the same book that you have. On the front inside page is Charles Andrew (next word unreadable) in remembrance of his grandmother (next word unreadable ) his grandfather Charles T. Andrews 1917. Very nice pictures in the book. I can't see where it crosses my family line perhaps I just picked it up. Ann
