I have started doing a little research and can share this. William Morgan is born ~1842 in NO. His mother is Elizabeth Morgan and I think his father is William Andrews. His father died when he was very young, perhaps an infant. Elizabeth married a man named Charles Miller and moved to Galveston. William Morgan marries Mary Agatha Mensman. Her parents are Charles Mensman and Ellen Green. William and Mary's children are (not in order) John (dies young), Charles (dies young), Willie, Andrew J. (my grandfather), Ella (oldest in 1880 census), Gertrude, Elizabeth. As to the civil war, I have this: joins Confederate Army Oct. 13, 1861; Co F. Reg 26 Y Calv, as a private. Not sure what all that means, but that is what I have. I hope this finds you and helps. Likewise, any information you would like to share would be alos be greatly appreciated. Paul Andrews

Hello Listers, I'm hoping someone can help me find my "missing" Frederick Marsden ANDREW. According to 1881 & 1891 censuses he was born in Surrey, but in the 1901 census in Scotland (could be an enumerator error). His deth certificate and the censuses suggest he was born about 1830. He married Annie SMITH (who was born about 1835 in Scotland) (though several searches at the Family Records Centre haven't produced a Marriage record). The earliest record I can find is the birth of  their daughter Alice Annie in Marylebone 1862. Subsequent children were Ninian Stuart (1865), Annie Alexandria (1886),  and Henry Frederick (1870). Frederick was a hair-dresser, and all the records I have found for him show him in Marylebone. If anyone can add to this (sparse) information, particularly regarding his baptism, marriage, earlier census etc. I would be very grateful. Thanks very much, John Lobb

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Wm.2ADEB/1819.1 Message Board Post: I came across your message re "Pervey Andrews" at the Ancestry.com message board. I believe you mean PEREZ Andrews born January 17, 1813 in Livermore Maine and son of Lucius Andrews and Olive (Gilmore) Andrews both originally from Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Perez Andrews was born in Maine however his father (Lucius) removed to Livermore from Bridgewater along with Lucius's father Zephaniah Andrews (1760-1823) and mother Hepsibah "Polly" (Luscsomb) Andrews (1766-1815) roughly at the turn of the 19th century. Lucius Andrews's brother Manassah Andrews (1794-1881) was my great great grandfather. Therefore you and I are distant cousins. These Andrewses were an early Bristol County family. The progenitor was Henry Andrews from Wales who settled in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. In my family records I have "Perez F. Andrews married Betsey Wade Pratt November 20,1836 in Bridgewater, Mass." They had the following children: 1. Susan, b. May 20, 1839 m. Benjamin Harden 2. Sarah F. (no dob) m. Albert S. Gove December 31, 1863 3. Azubah S., b. 1844 m. John D. Ellerson 4 Edgar F., b.1847 m. Cora Pierce 5. Elmer P., b. 1850 6. Elijah F., b. 1854 m. Mary F. Alden Betsey Wade (Pratt) Andrews (1813-1879, wife of Perez Andrews was a daughter of Elijah Pratt and Naomi Wade from Bridgewater and Halifax, Massachusetts, Plymouth County respectively. Many of these Andrews-connected families are buried at Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Bridgewater, Massachusetts including my own line through Manassah Andrews. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Best regards, Richard B. Hall
