The middle name caught me as 'my Fred Andrews' had a uncle whose first name is Llewellyn. My Fred was born Feb. 1913 and would be of age during WW11. I am interested to know who the letters are addressed to, or what names it contains. I am in search of his maternal grandparents, last name of Slocum of RI & Idaho.

Hi, I have Rev. War. pension informaton on a Thomas Andrews, who was born in Dinwiddie Co., 4 April 1758. He lived in Lunenburg Co., where he entered the service. Later moved to Franklin Co., VA., and then to KY in the Spring of 1815. His wife is Margaret. They married in Mecklenburg Co., in 1791. Is this Thomas Andrews the son of Abraham (Abram) Andrews and his wife, Ann "Nancy?" Thanks. Sue

Sorry, I don't know anything aobut your branch of the 'Clan Andrews'. Bassingbourn and Shpreth are about 8-10 miles from where my paternal Grandfather was born. I understand that there are a considerable number of Andrews in that part of the country. I haven't done anything about furthering my research since I posted that message. Sorry I can't help further. Best wishes Dave Andrews
