The incription gives his name and states "23 years old". THis photo was taken around the 1890 range and I saw that there was a 13 year old Frank Andrews on the 1880 Census living in the 3rd Ward, Galeburg, Knox, Ill census area with parents, Mathew Andrews and Ella P Andrews. This is a strong connection but you decide. The photo is studio labeled Galesburg, Ill. Please contact me if this is your relative. dgcarr@att.net Georgia Carr

I am looking for anyone connected to a Maude Andrews who married Joseph J. Greene. Maude may have gone by Mary. I believe they lived in Aiken County and Anderson County South Carolina in 1920 and 30. Two daughters with conflicting names, Edith (Mary) and perhaps Francis (Sallie). There is a Maude P. listed on the 1880 Spartanburg SC census that may be her, she is 10 years old, her parents are William (45) and Margaret, sibs are Edith, Jessie and Cora. William was born in New Jersey and his parents in England. Thank you very much Tammy Lynn Collard

I too am interested in the Collum family, as I don't have much info on them.
Sharon: Sorry - no matches. I've added your info to my family file and if anything turns up, I'll let you know. Cornelia
David was in the Metemora, Franklin, Indiana Federal Census in 1870 with his wife Lucy, step-child Anna Walker, and children Margaret Watson,Charles Byron and Cora. In 1880 Lucy is listed in Jackson, Livingston, Missouri as a widow with all the children plus Elvira and Earl. Anna is next door with her husband, George Pomeroy and child Walker. Does any of this fit with yours? Sharon

Looking for a link to David Andrews born 1826 in New York. My only source for him is in the 1870 census with his own family and his name on death certifictes of two of his children. I finally tried going backwards from "clues" of hearsay that we used to be MacAndrews and were from Scotland. Do you have any info leading from John to New York? Sharon Andrews Layton
HI, Sadly, most likely not. My John arrived in Kings Towne Rhode Island from Scotland around 1660, although there are later Johns among his descendents. Where were your ancestors located? Were they Scots? I've just returned from a trip to Scotland... very beautiful!
