I am looking for Andrews living in Broome Co. and Chenango Co., NY abt 1800-1830 or so. Also any Andrews that may have moved from there to Richland and Ashtabula and Trumbull Co.,'s OH. My note : Chenango John is son of Samuel Andrews E. Haddam John (Cone) is son of Samuel Jr. Samuel Jr. is Chenango John's brother. Chenango John is John Andrews - moved to Chenango Co., abt 1800 E. Haddam John is John Andrews m. Lucy Cone 1781. I have E. Haddam John as the son of Richard Andrews b. 1711/12. Richard had a brother Samuel. My GGGF was James A Andrews married Marjorie Mullins all lived in Robertson Country. Anyone with info it would be so appreciated. I have hit a roadblock and can't get further than James A. but his father married a Neal if that helps and was from Tennessee.

Found him living in Abilene, Taylor county, Texas in the 1910 and 1920 census, with his daughter Alene and her 2nd husband Theo Zimmerman. He also had a daughter Lillie L. married to George T.     3. Hello All, George Andrews from the marriage certificate was born in 1855, and at the time of his marriage was living at Caepantywyll. Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, South Wales In 1881 Ann Andrews is working as a Nurse Domestic Servant with a family named Nell at 29 Wood Cottage, Wenvoe, the head of household is William W.Nell, Brewer and Wine merchant. There is only one George Andrews listed as born MT in 1885 and he is living as a lodger with a David John and family at Blaina Road, Aberystruth, Monmouth, Wales and unmarried. In 1881 Mary Andrews and John Elias Andrews (children of George and Ann) are living with their grandmother Ann Jenkins at 3 Ebinezer Row, Eglwysilan, Glamorgan In 1901 Ann Andrews 43 is living with Thomas 29 and Mary 27 Moseley also living with them is Edith Moseley 22. Whether George Andrews and Ann Andrews got divorced or just seperated I do not know at the moment , but searching the 1901 census I can only find one George Andrews that fits !!! George Andrews born 1855 Merthyr Tydfil Glam Christina Andrews born 1865 Glasgow Scotland together with children Richard b. 1885 George b. 1886 Martha b. 1888 Jane b. 1890 John b. 1892 Jame b. 1894 William b. 1897 Thomas b. 1898 Christina b. 1900 Edward b. 1901 All the children were born Durhan Seaham. In 1891 they were living at 28 Doctors Street, Durham, England. In 1881 there is only one Richard Andrews (George's father) listed in MT he is Richard ANDREWS Head M Male 60 Somerset, England Coal Labourer Martha ANDREWS Wife M Female 53 Pembroke, Wales Annie ANDREWS Daughter Female 14 Merthyr Dressmaker Mary ANDREWS Daughter Female 9 Merthyr Scholar -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Source Information: Dwelling 2 Perrot Square Census Place Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales I have more information about Richard Andrews in his native county of Somerset.
