    1. Samuel Andrews of Scroggsfield, Ohio
    2. I would love to hear from anyone who could help me with information on this family. I would especially like to fill in my missing dates for husbands and wives. I will very willingly share what information I have. Samuel Andrews, born 1871 in Virginia or Pennsylvania, died 1863, and is buried at Scroggsfield Cemetery in Carroll Co., Ohio. His wife was probably Elizabeth, last name unknown and she died before 1840. In his later years, Sam lived with Eleazor and Hannah. Their children were: 1. William, (about 1811-?) married to Elizabeth George. Elizabeth is buried at Scroggsfield, but there is no stone for William. 2. a daughter, (about 1812-?) (name unknown, but listed on the 1830 census). 3. Eleazor, (about 1813-?) married Sarah Stonebraker, last known to be living in Washington Co., Iowa in 1860. 4. James (about 1815-1885) married Elizabeth Ault. James is buried at Scroggsfield, but no stone for Elizabeth. 5. George, (1817-1881) married Elizabeth Groves. These are my ancestors and I have a lot of information on them. 6. Hannah, (about 1820-1863) married Samuel Morrow. Hannah is buried at Scroggsfield and I have followed Samuel to Kansas and Wisconsin with two more wives. 7. John, (about 1831-?) who went to Iowa. Sam and Elizabeth's children were born in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio according to various census information. Serena in Michigan

    3. Good Morning! There are several articles in the Glades Star. (Journal of the Cumberland Genealogical Society, I believe.) Information following: Journal Title: Glades Star Journal Call Number: F187.G2 G6 Journal Volume: Vol. 7 Iss. 14 Journal Date: March 1995 Journal Year: 1995 Article Title: James Drane family history, MD There are several other articles in other volumes of the journal. I have not been able to get to see them. I found them in PERSI. Possibly you can get them through an interlibrary loan. I may be related to this family but am not sure. 1. DRURY - ANDREWS Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Harriet DRURY which was taken at the Bergroth Studio in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The photograph appears to have been taken sometime between 1920-1940 with Harriet appearing to be in her 20's or 30's at the time. Based on limited research I believe that this may be a photograph of Harriet DRURY b. 5 Oct 1907 at Fitchburg, MA to parents Leon Arthur DRURY and Daza Page MOWRY. Harriet married Robert S. ANDREWS and died 6 Feb 1995 at Fitchburg, MA. The photograph was recovered with others belonging to the BALLOU, WOOD, HAMBLET, HART, HALL, GOODWIN, PAULSON, and BURCHSTEAD Families of Pittsfield, MA; Springfield, MA; Milford, NH; Fitchburg, MA; Leominster, MA; Neosho, WI; Beaver Dam, WI; Ocanomawac, WI; and Hartford, WI. I'm hoping to locate someone from Harriet's family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    1. David Outlaw Andrews
    2. Your information on Warren Andrews, etc. is very interesting. However, I got a little confused when I tried to outline the tree. If I've made any mistakes in the following, please let me know. Many of the given names are familiar in my Frederick ANDREWS family. However, the lack of names such as Etheldred, Dinah, Trephena, or Luter would suggest that Warren might be the link. Can you give me more information on these people? Also, I'm not clear where David Outlaw Andrews is supposed to fit. Thanks, Dot Wirth Baton Rouge, LA Generation No. 1 1.
