From: Mark Schilling <schill@gol.com> To: ANDERSONVILLE-L@rootsweb.com Re; William Rea I am searching for information about my great-great-great grandfather William Rea, who belonged to the 45rh Regiment Ohio Infantry and was captured by confederate troops on November 18, 1863 in the siege of Knoxville. He was sent to Andersonville Prison on February 15, 1863 and remained there until November of the same year, when he was sent to Milan, Georgia. His health was severely affected by his stay in Andersonville, but he survived the war and returned to his home in De Graf, Ohio. He died in 1901 at the age of 58. I am just wondering if anyone out there has any ancestors who mentioned Rea in any letters or diaries. A long shot I know, but... Thanks for any help you can give me.
