Hello all, I am new to the list so I thought I would introduce myself. My Great, Great, Great Grandfather Benjamin John Nicholson (Nickelson) died in Andersonville on Aug 14, 1864. He is buried in grave #5595. I would love to find someone that my have a relative that new my Grandfather and wrote about him in a letter. I want to find out what his last days alive were like and if a Doctor or Minister kept a diary about the men they may have served. Can any one offer some advise or give me some direction ?
