Hello All, I had a cousin who died at Andersonville, Aug 16, 1864. In his mother's pension request papers are some letters that he sent home. He wrote one on 20 Dec 1863 from a prison in Richmond, VA. It looks like "Scotts Prison third floor, Ricmond Virginia". Does anyone have any information on this prison? I know about Belle's Isle and Libby. He was captured at the Battle of Chickamauga. I understand a lot of the prisoners were processed through Libby in Richmond. Thank you, Wilma
