Hello List, For anyone who missed the query I posted to the list on November 18th, please let me update and share with you how valuable the Andersonville list is as a research tool. Below is my original query followed by the results: I just subscribed this evening and would like to know if anyone among us knows how to find this book? I even called the Andersonville museum library and they never heard of it. I would really like to get ahold of it. PERSONAL NARRATIVES/BIOGRAPHIES Clavreul, H. Diary of...with the Names of Dying Federal Soldiers to Whom he Ministered at Andersonville, Ga., July and August 1864. n.p.: CT Assoc of Ex- POW, 1910. E612A5C55. Today when I opened my mail box I was delighted to find a brown envelope from: US Army Military History Institute Historical Reference Branch 22 Ashburn Drive, Carlisle Barracks Carlisle, PA 17013-5008 The Reference Librarian there copied the 18 page book on Nov 24th and I received it today, Nov 25th. Here are other libraries that also have the Diary in their Special Collections Department: Duke University Library, NC Auburn University at Montgomery Yale University Library, CT Connecticut State Library Trinity College, CT Boston College, MA, US Naval Academy, Annapolis MD I received an email today that the USNaval Academy is also sending me a copy of the Diary. Finding the diary was made possible by good folks like you all, who are always willing to lend guidance and direction. Thanks Again John C Oester
