My Anderson family is located now in the Indiana and Ohio area, primarily in Kokomo, Indiana and Toledo and Rossford, Ohio. On my grandfather's mother's side of the family, we were Martins who were from the Stanton, Kentucky area. We still have a family graveyard outside of that town and the remains of the family log cabin dating back to 1822 with the upper story still intact. My Anderson roots are a little sparse on details as far as location but I do have a tree showing myself, David W. Anderson, DOB 1952; my father, William P. Anderson, DOB 1931; my grandfather William C. Anderson, DOB 1912; ggrandfather Francis Benjamin Anderson,DOB 1872; gggrandfather ,DOB; ggggrandfather ,DOB ;Isaac Henry Anderson,DOB ??; and gggggrandfather Archibald Anderson, DOB ??. I am not certain of the locations of the last two, but there may have been a Rockingham County Virginia connection there. I am diligently working on making more certain connections in my Anderson tree, especially in connecting to Scotland. Family rumor has it that we hailed from that area. My family tree is not yet online due to storage and forwarding problems, but I hope it will be soon. Does anyone have suggestions as to a good way to accomplish getting the tree online? Also, does anyone have info. which seems to fit with the individuals listed? Thanks for any help that comes. I have W.G. ANDERSON, Indiana,Jefferson Co, Lancaster Twp, Wife Anna, 1850 census indicates W.G. is from PA and ANNA is from KY. The info says WG has a father W.J. ANDERSON d:12/18/1841. A Elizabeth is listed in cemetery d: 1847/1852 possibly WJ's wife. 1850 census has MILTON ANDERSON (our ggrandfather) as 12 yrs. MILTON Later m:MARY E. COCHRAN 1/1/1851 thus MILTON began his oddessy. Does this fit anyone out there???
