My Joseph ANDERSON then moved c1790 to Randolph Co., IL and lived in Scotch/Irish part of town.. but wife stayed in SC, as Joseph was a probably a "trail leader" for westward migration of Rev War Vets claiming IL 'bounty land" for Rev War Service. He served 28 months in Rev War 1779-1781 with Col George Rogers Clark in the NorthWest IL-IN-KY Campaign. He probably developed his SC to IL "trail leader" navigation skills during this time.
