I found a James W. Anderson listed in the Muster Roll of the G 10 Inf & sent for his Civil War records. According to the Civil War records, James W. was mustered in at Darwin, IL, was married to America Archer, had a son named Archer, moved to Denver in the 1880's & died before 1916. Unfortunately, there is no mention of his parents. I am hoping James W. is a son of James B. Anderson & Nancy G. McClure, my gr-gr-grandparents. Any help proving or disproving a connection would be greatly appreciated. Mary Jane Leenstra
