Dear friends, I have received 3 messages sent to me personally because I responded ON THE LIST to someone who posted information about William (Bloody Bill) Anderson. Dear moderator, I see this as a problem. Unless you just want people to post questions only and not help each other with the ANSWERS, the set up of this list means that the answers go ONLY to the poster unless the person replying sends his message to "ALL" instead of just replying. So people are sending me messages about Bloody Bill when they should be sending them to the person who wrote the original message OR to the list where we can all see them, speculate together and/or correct each other. I'm sorry I can't help those who have replied to me about Bloody Bill but I've only been researching the Andersons for a short time and know relatively little about them (so far). You probably know much more than I do. Please, just be aware of who wrote the part of the message that you want to respond to. It may NOT be the person who gets the message. I feel bad when someone sends something personally to me because of something I posted in reply to another person and I can't help them. Cynthia
