I have a copy of a United States of America, State of Kansas, Mitchell County form dated March 3, 1884 wherein Swan Anderson, a native of Sweden, swears his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and renounces all allegiance to the King of Sweden and Norway. On what appears to be a separate form, the bottom of which states "Declaration of Intention" and is dated March 4th, 1884, the court states that having applied for citizenship, and producing such evidence and making such declarations and renunciations as are required by the Acts, Swan Anderson is admitted by the court to be a citizen of the United States of America. My question to anyone on this list is: Are there any additional citizenship documents, application forms or other paperwork that I should be looking for that may provide more information about my great-grandfather, such as his parents names, births, immigration dates, etc., or is this it?
