Hi cousins, The question has come up again about the "reply to" settings for the list, as it does periodically. I manage several smaller lists and there is no doubt that the preferred setting is to have replies go to the list. With a large list like this one, message traffic goes up considerably with replies to the list, and frequently the replies are "thank yous" and of other extraneous content, which drives membership down. However, as even I agree that replies to the list is preferrable, I am going to try it again. Please remember, that if traffic volume becomes troublesome to you, that you can always switch your subscription to the digest mode by unsubscribing from Anderson-l-request@rootsweb.com and subscribing to anderson-d-request@rootsweb.com. Also, please try to keep responses directed at the list such that they contain ANDERSON genealogical content, and direct any personal messages at your correspondent. Patrick J.
