Sarah and all researchers, especially the Anderson Clans. I really pays to invest a few dollars in the copies of older maps and state and county. Remember as Sarah and I have that I one time Virginia included territory clear to the Mississippi River, so if you are researching someone that lived in Kentucky and in later years state he was born there, also look toward VA, NOT invisioning the state as it is. Also the census is only A GUIDE, do not take it as gospel, all of us have found errors in the census. A bible or court records are more reliable, but do not discount the census.
