I have James Anderson b. 10 Apr 1763, d. 28/29 Jun 1830 Adams County, Illinois. James married Jane Guerrant 26 Apr 1787 Buckingham Co., (by Rev. Rene Chastain). Jane was born 8 Apr 1769 and died 14 Dec 1844 in Adams Co., IL. James and Jane had a number of children. According to Bible records: Mary (Polly) b. 1789 (m. Charles P. Anderson); Frances 1792 (m. William Anderson); John b. 1794 (m. Elizabeth Guerrant--my line); Martha b. 1795 (m. Robert G. Glover, a cousin); Nancy b. 1796 (m. Mr. Childers); Jane b. 1798, d. young; Eliza b. 1800 (m. Jesse Glover, a cousin); Sarah b. 1802 (m. Mr. Edmondson); Hariette b. 1804 d. young; Jane Guerrant Anderson, b. 1806 (m. William G. Flood, a cousin); James H. bl. 1813 (m. Sarah Adams and Sarah Burns); Juliana, b. 1814 (m. Charles H. Anderson, a cousin). John Anderson b. 13 Jan 1794 was in the War of 1812, entering from his home in Montgomery Co., Kentucky. He returned to New Canton in 1819 and married Elizabeth Guerrant. In 1828 they moved to Illinois. I think we are close on to something here. What do you think? Carol
