    3. Debra, The reason I ask this , is recently I found a lead that my William Anderson was in Amherst Co. around 1890 to 1900. I thought because the census said that the children were born in Green Co. , that they stayed their until their move to W.V. , but I feel that they were in Amherst Co. between the years 1890 to 1900. He was married twice , fist marriage to a Bette Bryant , second Virginia Smith , I have been tracking their footsteps for 3 yr. now and can't seem to find them prior to coming into West Virginia. He had three children by Bette ,who were Samuel , Hiram ,. and Bessie was just a tot when her mother died .
