I am searching for information on my Anderson ancestors. The oldest known is my 2nd. Great Grandfather. JOHN ANDERSON was born in 1834 in Tn.according to the census. He was living in Jackson Co. Mo. in 1850 with 1. CATHERINE ANDERSON age 30, born in Tn. listed as the HOH. 2. JOHN ANDERSON age 16, born in Tn. 3. ELVIRA ANDERSON age 13, born in Mo. 4. JAMES ANDERSON age 7, born in Mo. 5. SARAH ELIZABETH ANDERSON age 7, born in Mo. I do not now what relation CATHERINE was, Probably not themother as she was only 13 years older than JOHN. Only other information I have on the above is: JOHN married EMILY ELVIRA MARTIN ELLIS, in Jackson Co. Mo. Mar.12, 1858. They were living in Jackson Co. Mo. in 1860, and 1880. EMILY must have died between 1880 and 1900 as she was not on the census with JOHN. In 1900 JOHN was living in Lafayette Co. Mo. with his daughter Sarah Bunger and husband. He was not on the 1910 census. I need the parents and place of origin for JOHN, where he and EMILY were buried and death dates.
