It so happens I have posted some information concerning the ANDERSON surname on the McLennan Co., TX, TCGenWeb Site (also the Central Texas Genealogical and Historical Society site). It may interest you and there is a possibility, although I have no real connection yet to your John Green ANDERSON, that my gg-grandfather may be related to your ANDERSON. His name was James ANDERSON, b. 1824, and had I believe two sons that lived in Weatherfors, TX. One was William P. and the other was James POLK ANDERSON.
