Some records I have found regarding Andersons in Newcastle. If anyone connects, please contact me as I have more info. Thomas Anderson b. to William and Jane 6-27-1786 says "Birdhope Craig URC" at the top of the page (20) (LDS film 1066769) which is area near Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. The "Residence" is hard to read the script but it looks like Blanch Burn. Also Page 43 Birdhope URC Anthony Anderson b. 6-27-1814 to Thomas and Mary, the residence is Southchester. I also have a record of Anthony Anderson marrying Mary Booth, dau. of Alexander and Mary Booth. Another film for Newcastle area-The listing for Anthony and Mary (Booth) Anderson's children's christenings says at the top of the page "Saint Andrew, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England" (LDS film 1238679). The 1851 census for the Anderson family says the residence is at the Black Boy Inn. Above it all the families are listed as being in "Spital Tongues. Hope this helps someone else. Ruth
