There is an Elias L Anderson buried in the Bayville Cemetary. His marker is too badly eroded to discern dates. Although Bayville is now in Ocean County, it was a part of Monmouth County until 1860. There is also a marker nearby for a Catherine Anderson. The marker states that she was the wife of Elias Anderson, and died March 11, 1804, age 85 years. It sounds like this Elias Anderson would be too old to be the one you are seeking, but there may be a relationship. There are a number of Anderson's in the Bayville cemetary.
