It says: Swan Levine Anderson B 9/2/1851 at Nykyrka Skaraborg. Married 11/12/1876 in Page Co. Iowa. Died March 17, 1928 at Minneapolis, Minn. His wife's name was Selma Louise Johnson. Swan Mangus Anderson (my great grandfather) came to Jamestown NY when he was 7 years old w/his parents Peter and Caroline. They came to Lucas Co. Iowa where he married Elizabeth Jane Ragan. From Lucas Co. they moved to Beloit, Kansas in 1878 and then to Kiowa Co. (Kansas) in 1885. June (my aunt) says she can't connect anything. I am assuming that the location Nykyrka Skaraborg is in Sweden where my Anderson family came from but I do not know if there is a connection between the two Swan Anderson's noted above either. As my great grandfather was born about June of 1850, it would appear that he and his parents came to Jamestown NY about 1857; however, I have not been able to find any documentation of that event.
