These brothers left NC to go to Washington State in 1905 to work in the logging industry. They had a brother John Arthur Anderson, who went with them for a short time, then left to go to WV to mine coal instead. They also had a sister Zella who stayed home. My great grandfather was John Arthur Anderson. These Andersons are not Swedish descent, but Scot-Irish and Cherokee Indian. They are dark skinned, tan easily and are very tall and lanky built. Their mother was Sarah Caroline Anderson, and their father was Rufus Delp. The SSI places them in Tacoma at the time of their deaths. They were both born in Alleghany County, NC around 1885-1890. I am planning an Anderson website soon, but in the meantime, please see the bottom of this webpage SPENCE ANCESTORS for a picture of Franklin Eugene Anderson, who is the son of John Arthur and the nephew of Emmett and Ed Anderson. Any info is appreciated. Sheila Deanne Anderson-Lewis --part1_0.10b2abc8.25616a77_boundary--
