According to pension papers I just received from NARA on James W. Anderson, James (born abt 1837 in Darwin, IL, died 1895 in Denver), married America ? (died abt 1916 in Denver) & moved to Denver, CO abt 1885. James & America had a son named Archer who was living in Denver in 1916. I am trying to find proof that James is my great-granduncle, brother of Mary Jane Anderson, son of James B. & Nancy McClure Anderson. Does any of this sound familiar? Mary Jane L.
