Dear listers I was fortunate enough to go to the DAR library in Washington DC yesterday...unfortunate enough to get there an hour before close. I did get to see a file that a great aunt's cousin had done on a revolutionary ancestor, and on reading the lineage, I discovered my Hanna ANDERSON (who married David McDOWELL) in Mercer County, Pennsylvania was Pennsylvania Dutch. That's one more clue to who she was and where she came from I guess. Aside from who she married, that's about all I know about her. Does anyone have Pennsylvania Dutch in their lineage? Know of a good site about their genealogy? Did/do the Penn Dutch keep records like the Mormons and Quakers? Thanks for your help folks! Gail Itschner twlwwyth@aol.com
