    1. [ANDERSON-L] Re: Anna Anderson raises abandoned Cherokee baby
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: ANDERSON, HORN(E), GLENN, TURNEY Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Wl.2ADIB/8657.1.1 Message Board Post: All I know is that Anna was "from TN" and I'm assuming she later went to Arkansas because that's where Nancy J. married my gg-grandfather, Joseph Horn. From somewhere, I got the idea that Nancy J. also was from TN. I found a Nancy Anderson, 6, on the 1850 U.S. Ark Census, Phillips Co. living in the household of Nancy Pierson and her two grown sons. jotted alongside her name is the small number "81." Don't know what that means. In the same county, there's an Anna Anderson, but so far haven't been able to access that census, just the index. As you can tell, I'm grasping here. Another odd thing, Nancy J., her youngest son, Mack Horn, and his wife, Melissa Younger Horn, are all buried in the ANDERSON cemetery???? What a mystery. Thanks for your thoughts; I may be able to find something more in Tennessee. The Horns may have travelled in the company of the GLENN and TURNEY families. I'm thinking Joseph Horn's father was Jesse Horn, b 1783 PA.
