He was born in Shields, Ill., and was a pile driver for Pile Drivers Union Local 2375. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Survivors include his wife, Marie Anderson; daughter, Cheryl Kreisher of Albuquerque, N.M.; son, Frederick D. Anderson II of Carlsbad; mother, Hazel Haynes of Oceanside; brothers, Michael Anderson of El Centro, Ron Anderson of Port Orchard, Wash., Bill Anderson of Hemet and Kurt Anderson of Vista; and two grandchildren.
