His mother, an older sister of Mabel's, is Stella who married George Combs. I have been unable to find any inforamtion as to the correct name of John J. Anderson. Documents for Stella have her father's name listed as John J.; John G.; and G.W. Anderson. He is also referred to as Jimmy. No have I found any mention of Eliza being Cherokee.
