I am looking for any information on my fathers ancestors. My father is Emanuel. Here is the information I have. I would say that locations for what I have so far is all in Southwest Virginia. I saw the earlier post on Land grants in southwest Virginia before 1800 and wondered if there might be a tie. I also saw the names James and William on the 1907 Cherokee Rolls. Problem is neither list has decendants, wives or dates so how do you tie them together? Has anyone else hear of Happy Hollow, Mendota, Virgina? I use to go there as a kid for family reunions and the Reunions are still held there. It is the Anderson homestead for my father's family. Any help is greatly appreciated.
