John is my great grandfather and I'd really like to find out what happened to him after he left KY. He was born in Logan County, KY in Apr 1870. His parents were George W. Anderson and Martha J. Barrett/Bassett. On 29 May 1896 he married Myrtle Chapman (daughter of William Wiley Chapman and Liz Gregston) in Logan County and they had 4 children. Sometime after the birth of their 4th child in 1900/01 John and Myrtle split up. Myrtle remained in Logan Cty and remarried (a total of 4 more times). John reportedly went to Clinton, IL (DeWitt County) and died there in the early 1960s. He most likely remarried. I have not been able to find him in IL in any available records to date.
