If you have contact with a lodge large enough to have a secretary, contact the secretary and request a search of the Surname in the particular county & state you are interested. If you are speaking of old records all they have is the name, date they joined any particular lodge, if their dues were current (the period I obtained information for was 1850-1900). If it is recent records I was told they obtain the parents names of the individuals who join. However, I think you can only obtain information on deceased individuals. They did have the correct death date from my great grandfather. Martha
