Patricia Hardison, Ah, ha! So you are still at a standstill as well! I have been going through old files, etc. and still can't find a clue, but still believe the coincidences are too good not to have some kind of connection between our lines. My John Anderson was in Charlestown, VA by sometime in the 1790's as his son David was born there in 1797. David's first son was named Robert Ferguson Anderson who in turn named one of his sons Robert Ferguson Anderson. My David spent his adult life in the Hardy and Pendleton County areas of VA, but he could easily have had siblings who migrated to other areas of the country. I have NO information on David's siblings or John's spouse or origins, but I still believe the Ferguson middle name indicates a connection with a Ferguson family. Did you ever find out anything about the Ferguson lectures listed in a will? Susan in Milwaukee
