Hello, Kris, from southern Virginia, I hope you won't mind a little helpful criticism? 8-) Unfortunately, while being polite is a great virtue that I wish more list users had, it doesn't help in a situation like yours. The only reason for this is that subscribing/unsubscribing and changes from list to digest [or vice versa] are normally handled automatically by pre-programmed computers. Or at least subscribe/unsubscribe requests are handled that way. I don't believe it's possible to simply say "please change my subscription from A to B". What you'll have to do [unless your problem has been solved by the time you read my message] is to send a message to Anderson-L-Request@Rootsweb.com that contains only 1 word -- unsubscribe. Then, once you've gotten a confirmation message saying that your address has been removed from the Anderson-L list of subscribers, you can take the next step. That step is to send a one-word message to Anderson-D-Request@Rootsweb.com [that word is subscribe]. After sending that message, the next time you check your mail, you should see a message confirming that you've been subscribed to Anderson-D. It may sound complicated, but it's actually quite easy. By sending messages such as yours to Anderson-L, it gives all the other subscribers something different to read, but might not get the results you want. Happy New Year! Hope this helps!
