Hi, My maternal grandmother's people, ANDERSON's, were from Randolph, Pendleton, Webster, Wetzel and Pocohontas counties of WVA (some areas once VA). I believe they orginally were from Wash. Co., PA. My lineage: Gfather: Floyd Columbus SIMMONS b 1891, son of Allen W. SIMMONS and Sarah Jane ANDERSON b 1859 d 1892-1900 buried in Mingo Cemetery, Valley Head, Randolph Co., WVA. Sarah Jane, dau of Alfred D. ANDERSON b 1822 in Rockbridge, VA d abt 1900 Webster co, WVA and Barbara SNYDER b 1842 d 1911 (prob. Webster Co., WVA). Alfred D. ANDERSON, son of Wm "Billy" S. ANDERSON b abt 1800 VA d 1857 and Mary Magdaline ANDERSON(?) b abt 1800 d Mar 14 or 26, 1876 (my mystery great) Their children: Rebecca R.C., Allen Markram, Lusanna, Alexander Crawford, Emely M., George Riley, Jessie W., Eugene Marshall, Angeline "Jane", W. Bolton, Charley Frederick, Robert Daniel, Henry R., Jasper ANDERSON's. I know that they're father, Wm Billy ANDERSON was the son of Robert Baxter ANDERSON and unk Elizabeth. Wondering if anyone has any information on Mary Magdaline (above) and/or Wm Billy's mother and father or siblings?
