I am searching for confirmation of the marriage of my 5th great grandparents: Samuel ANDERSON Rev.Sol. b. abt 1740 d. 1828 SC. He married Mary HINTON b. (?) SC d. 1810 SC.(her father was Robert-RevSol) They had a daughter Rachel Frances ANDERSON b. 1759 SC who married John KNIGHT, Rev.Sol. I have a DAR application pending for Samuel ANDERSON. They want proof that Rachel ANDERSON was the daughter of Samuel ANDERSON and Mary HINTON. I have many documents, but the DAR won't accept them. They insist on a document that states that the Rachel (or Rachel Frances ANDERSON) who was married to John KNIGHT was their daughter. I wonder if someone on this list has Mary HINTON in HINTON line - and- if so perhaps would have information to share. I will be most grateful for any information on he above. Thank you.
