Mr. Anderson was one of the well known citizens of this community, having lived in Elm Creek township for 42 years, moving to Ceylon in 1920. Funeral services were held at Sherburn in the Federated church Sunday afternoon. Walker of Ceylon had charge of the services and was assisted by Rev. Nickerson of Sherburn. Interment was made in Sherburn Cemetery. The pall bearers were Chas. Landin, Ben Benson, Chas. Bettin, Arthur Anderson, Wm. Grill and John Rohwedder. John Anderson was born December 24, 1848 at Wermland, Sweden.
