He was a native of Kentucky and was a winter resident for 10 years. He was a farmer and attended the Wiamauma (sic) Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Lucille; one son, Raymond of Ruskin; three stepsons, William Franklin of Tampa, Jack Franklin of Gibsonton, and Raymond Franklin of Lithia; four stepdaughters, Mary Tullis of Mulberry, Joanne Miller of Wimauma, Irene Green of Buford GA, and Roslyn Benefield of Rapid City SD; one brother, Ewing of Ruskin; two sisters, Mabel Burgis of Smithville MO, and Jewel Roberts of St. Joseph MO; four grandchildren; six great-grandchldren; and 17 step-grandchildren.
