Edwin was born in Union City, New Jersey. I am trying to locate information concerning his father's family line. I know his grandfather's name was Warren and possibly his great-grandfather's name was Warren as well. I know his grandfather was in the Civil War at Fort Sumter on the very first day it was fired upon. His great-great-grandfather is named Burit or possibly Burret Anderson. Does anybody have any information concerning these men. They lived in the area of Franklin, New York in Deleware County they possibly could have also been from the New Jersey area.
