Martin A. Anderson was born 01 Jun 1823 in Putnam Co., IN, and died 23 Oct 1870 in Putnam Co., IN buried in Brown Cemetery. He married Mary J. McCorkle 31 May 1855 in Putnam Co., IN. Their children: Margaret E. Anderson, b. 11 Mar 1860, Carpentersville, Franklin Twp, Putnam Co., IN; d. 13 May 1881, Putnam Co., IN buried in Brown Cemetery; James Anderson, b. 1858, Carpentersville, Franklin Twp, Putnam Co., IN; Henry Anderson, b. 1860, Carpentersville, Franklin Twp, Putnam Co., IN. Martin and Jesse's parents were: Jesse Anderson, born Abt. 1788 in Claiborne Co., TN, and died 04 Aug 1855 in Franklin TWP, Putnman Co., IN Brown Cemetery. He married Jane Miller 16 Aug 1809 in Claiborne Co., TN, daughter of Martin Miller and Sarah Ritchie, was born 16 Aug 1791 in NC. The Della and Clara Anderson's I have were the daughters of Jessie Martin Anderson, born 24 Feb 24, 1873 in KS. He married Arminta Abt. 1892. Jessie Martin was a brother to my great-grandfather Charley Ahigh Anderson, born 19 Dec 1892 in MO, and died 29 Sep 1954 in Christian Co., MO. He married Mamie Hall 1911 in Christian Co., MO.
