Dear listers, Seeking help &/or references to help resolve contradictory info on Thomas ANDERSON and to identify his parents. Thomas ANDERSON was born {Sept 27, 1787} or {Oct 15, 1787} or {???} in Virginia. There hasn't been agreement on this date. He married Mary Magdalena (Molly) MECHLIN in 1810 in Lancaster, Fairfield County, OH. Thomas and Molly Anderson built a house in 1825, it was on Mud House Road NE, Lancaster, OH 43130 Thomas & Molly's children: Levi Michael ANDERSON (1810-1889), m Emma Helivager von STAHL James Mechlin ANDERSON (1812-1899), m Lucy SAVAGE Mary Ann ANDERSON (1814- ), m Crawford PADAN Jesse ANDERSON (1816- ), m Lydia LANTZ Samuel H ANDERSON (1818-1910), m Mary HAMMOCK Nancy ANDERSON (1819-1819) Elijah S ANDERSON (1820-1851) Katherine ANDERSON (1822-1909), m Elijah FOSTER Simion B ANDERSON (1824- ) Thomas ANDERSON (1828-1851), m Louise CUTLER According to the 1850 US Census for Ohio, Fairfield County, Pleasant Twp (sheets 684-5)(Ancestry images 16 & 17/48) - Thomas ANDERSON was 62 years old, born in Virginia, married to Magdalena (also 62 years, born in New York); listed with Samuel H Anderson (24 years, born Ohio), Catherine Anderson (27 years, born Ohio), Simon Anderson (20 years, born Ohio); and on the following page, according to Ancestry images are: Elizabeth Levisk (28 years, born Virginia) & Mary Levisk (24 years, born Virginia). {Not sure if the Levisks are part of this family, as the family # following them is not consecutive with the Anderson family, and the family surname below them is Levisk} {Also, strangely there is another Levisk family listed on the bottom of sheet 688 (four pages later)(Ancestry images 20 & 21/48) & on the top of the following Ancestry image are children with a different surname (Ashbrook), & the family below them is a family with the surname Ashbrook that has a non-consecutive household/family numbering from previous page.} Thank you, Zoe
