Brick wall with James G. Anderson, born about 1834 in Smyth, Russell Cty, Va. Married LaVina Smith also from Russell Cty, Va. She brought five children from a previous marriage to the family. All took the Jackson name. Marriage was July 19, 1842. They ended up in Magoffin County, Kentucky. My line follows their son John Jackson and his wife, Mary Ann "Pop" Minix.
