James and Samuel were the sons of Alice (nee ROBSON) ANDERSON and (husband's given name unknown). Alice Ann (age 4) and Ellen Jane (age 2) first appear on the 1860 census of Kenosha City, Kenosha County Ward 1, WI. Their parents were Isabel (nee PAUL) and James ROBSON. In 1880 Alice's occupation is shown as School Teacher. Don't find her on the 1900, but by 1910 she is back in the family home, age 50, divorced, with her "own income", and with sons James R. age 24, and Samuel C, age 19. Both James and Samuel are shown as employed by Brass? Mills, James in a clerical capacity and Samuel as an inspector. Anyone see a connection?
