My father is Randall Williams (b. Jan. 10, 1963 in Portsmouth, Ohio). His parents were Wilbur Eugene Williams (b. Jan. 17, 1938 in Wheelersburg, Ohio) and Meredith Mershon (b. Jan. 12, 1940 in Portsmouth, Ohio). My great-grandfather was Cecil Mershon (b. Oct. 17, 1912 in Rarden, Ohio; d. Feb. 2004 in Portsmouth, Ohio), who married Ellen Louise Ross (b. Jan. 28, 1912 in Fullerton, Kentucky; d. Feb. 2004 in Portsmouth, Ohio) on Dec. 8, 1935. My second great grandfather was Walter F. Mershon (Jan. 4, 1876 in Pond Creek; d. Nov. 6, 1918 in McDermott, Ohio), who married Barbara May Steppe (b. Nov. 22, 1886 in Portsmouth, Ohio; d. Jun. 28, 1973 in Portsmouth, Ohio) on Oct. 14, 1910. My third great grandfather was David Harsha Mershon (b. Dec. 24, 1845 in Scioto County, Ohio; d. Mar 13, 1902 in Scioto County, Ohio) on Oct. 1, 1868 in Scioto County, Ohio. My fourth great grandfather was Henry Mershon, Jr. (b. Sep 2! 7, 1818 in Adams County, Ohio; d. May 5, 1894 in Scioto County, Ohio), who married Elzabeth Holt (b. Nov 22, 1818 in Virginia; d. Sep 10, 1875 in Scioto County, Ohio) on Jul. 9, 1840. My fifth great grandfather was Henry Mershon (b. Nov. 12, 1787 in Hopewell, New Jersey; d. 1860 in Ohio), who married Cassandra Hibbs (b. abt. 1800 in Pennsylvania; d. aft. 1827 in Scioto County, Ohio) in 1817 in Ohio. My sixth great grandfather was Timothy Mershon (b. 1754/5 in Hopewell, New Jersey; d. aft. 1787 in Adams County, Ohio), who married Ann Stevens (b. abt. 1754 in New Jersey; d. in Ohio) on Apr. 1, 1775 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. My seventh great grandfather was Andrew Mershon (b. Aug. 6, 1706 in Maidenhead, New Jersey), who married Francina Anderson (b. Jun 22, 1714 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey; d. Aug. 27, 1796 in Trenton, New Jersey) in 1730 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. My eighth great grandfather was Cornelius Anderson (b. Sep. 26, 1670 in Elizabethtown, New Jers! ey; d. 1724 in Hopewell, New Jersey), who married Annetje Opdike (b. a bt. 1679 in Newton, New York; d. aft. 1746 in Maidenhead, New Jersey). My ninth great grandfather was Joachim Anderson (b. abt. 1640 in Amsterdam, Netherlands; d. abt. 1674 in Elizabethtown, New Jersey), who married Emmetje Jans (b. 1640 in New York, New York; d. 1690 in Newton, New York) in abt. 1664 in London, England. My tenth great grandfather was Andries Jochemson (b. abt. 1607 in Leewarden, Friesland, The Netherlands; d. abt. 1674 in New York), who married Seletje Fredericks (b. abt. 1609 in Amsterdam, Netherlands; d. 1674 in New York) on Feb. 1, 1631/2 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. My eleventh great grandfather was Jochum Andries (b. abt. 1575 in Leeuwarden, Friesland, The Netherlands; d. 1607 in Leeuwarden, Friesland, Netherlands), who married Gryet Pauwels (b. Leeuwarden, Friesland, Netherlands; d. 1607 in Leeuwarden, Friesland, Netherlands). This is as far back as I have gotten on the Anderson side of my family. I have some information about the siblings of each of! these; however any information would be greatly appreciated. If you find any mistakes in my information, please let me know. Most of my information has been researched carefully; however, mistakes are still possible. I am not only trying to find my ancestors, but I am also looking for relatives today. Therefore, I would like information connecting people alive today with me. One of my life goals is to actually meet a tenth cousin. I appreciate any help that you could give me.
